Low shutter count of just over 7000, this camera is in excellent condition. The Canon EOS 2000D is known to have excellent low light sensitivity.

This camera has been professionally modified by Andy Ellis at http://astronomiser.co.uk with rear filter removal and sensor repositioning mod.

(DSLR cameras from Canon give impressive results when used for astrophotography, the only real draw back being that their fitted filter cuts a large amount of red light meaning crucial Hydrogen Alpha seen in emission nebulae is not picked up, my camera being modified is able to pick up these light waves).

Included in sale is original Canon battery charger, Canon camera strap, USB powered batter charger, battery and also a USB powered dummy battery which runs the camera from a power bank (not supplied) all night long.

I am advertising this elsewhere, there are very few 2000Ds available, so I don’t expect this to be available for very long. My only reason for selling is that I have upgraded to a cooled astro camera.
