Over the last decade, I've spent a lot of time learning about embodied cognition and its applications in K-12 classrooms.
I love it. In fact, I love it so much I wrote a book about it called Embodied Learning in the Schools: Designs that Link Brain, Body, and Technology in K-12 Classrooms. The book walks you through each of the main theories associated with embodied learning, then provides classroom examples that a teacher can easily implement with technology. Check it out!
I also hosted a webinar on Embodied Cognition for AECT. It's got great information about the theory as well as some of my research (see below).
