This group of animated bicyclists was spotted taking a break on Wednesday, Sept. 17 in St. Charles from a ride on the Saginaw Valley Rail Trail. The Thumb Easy “EZ” Riders, according to rider coordinator Lynnea Matthews, has 35 members and averages about 20 people per ride. Bicyclists ride various routes of approximately 20 miles every Wednesday, June thru Sept., she said. Marilyn Langley, now deceased, started the club in 2011. “Our members thoroughly enjoyed the Saginaw Valley Rail Trail and intend to come back and ride it on a yearly basis,” Matthews said.
