Salad:
8 cups baby romaine lettuce torn into bite sized pieces
1 can sliced hearts of palm
1/3 c. toasted pine nuts
1/3 c. toasted sunflower kernels
1/3 c. Salad Pizazz orange cranberry almondine
1 c. baby carrots
Citrus Herb Vinaigrette:
2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
4 teaspoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
2 teaspoons lime juice
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons fresh parsley, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Directions:
Combine all salad ingredients in a salad bowl. Whisk all vinaigrette ingredients together and lightly drizzle over salad . Serve with grilled shrimp or chicken if you wish.
