In this tutorial I'll learn you how to import .brres files, the filetype used by Wii Fishing Resort.
Programs you need:
-Brresviewer http://www.mediafire.com/download/cdki96az9c2ek95/brresviewer.rar
-Noesis http://www.richwhitehouse.com/index.php?content=inc_projects.php&filemirror=noesisv40997.zip
-Blender (I use version 2.49b in my videos) + NifScripts (I use version 1.5.7)
-Nifskope
-DXTBmp
Step 1: Converting
-Open the .bbres in Brresviewer.
-Export the model as .psk
-Make sure 'Auto Export Textures' is selected or else you won't get the texture.
-Import the .psk in Noesis (I use version 4.0976.)
-Export the model as .obj

Step 2: Rigging
-Import the .obj in Blender.
-In the Button window go to 'Material Buttons'. On the right side you see 'Texture' and you can click Add New.
When you click on 'Add New' 'Map Input' and 'Map To' appear, click on Map Input and click on 'UV'. Then go to 'Texture buttons' and you've to choose a Texture Type, choose 'Image'
-Load the .dds texture (on the right side) and click on 'Generated'.
-Now select the model and go to edit mode. Select everything (Press A) and click Mesh-Vertices-Remove Doubles. Then click Mesh-Faces-Set Smooth.
-Now you have to rig the model, I think the video is pretty clear, but check the tutorial I posted at Gaia if you want more information:

Step 3: Nifcoding and importing the texture
-When you're done, export the model and bones as .nif and nifcode it. Don't forget to add a NiAlphaProperty.
-Open the .tga texture in DXTBmp, choose Image-Flip Image and Alpha-Flip Alpha.
-Save the texture as DXT1 texture.
