9/12/10 - Linda Roys is planning to relocate to Little Rock, AR soon. She is close to closing on a home their. She has two homes to sell in Shreveport, although may hire a rental agent to mind them. Aunt Mary will be joining her daughter in the relocation there. Both are looking forward to something new.
9/12/10 - Diane Vanslager is planning a two week trip in October to Taiwan to see her husband Mike, who has been working oversees in the auto industry for the past three years.
8/25/10 - Bryant Roys' Grandfanther, Willie Ray Bierden, 90, passed away on August 20, 2010. I remember him as Uncle Dick's partner in Bistineau Tropical Fish and father of Sheila. He was a resident of Shreveport and was retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving his country for 22 years. Her is survived by Bryant's Grandmother, Elmae. Our condolences to Bryant who has suffered two losses in two months.
8/17/10 - Esther Mae Roys has received her news of being "graduated" by Home Hospice to good health at age of 84, one year after her hip fracture and heart problem.
8/7/10 - Avery Lee Van Dyke tried live in a retirement home for a month and elected to return back to his residence in Mishawaka, IN. Renda and Roger Green, have been helping our Uncle out with his moves. His old phone number is back in service.
8/2010 - Cathy Roys-Worrell now has 10 Grandchildren at last counting. She wonders how her Dad, John Delbert, would handle that!
7/2010 - Mary E. Teeter-Roys and daughter, Linda are planning a move from Shreveport, LA to Arkansas sometime this year. Mary is planning a little reunion with her family in August.
7/4/2010 - Bob DeWells has been released from Home Hospice with a full recovery from his stomach ailment last Thanksgiving and Christmas.
6/18/2010 - Sad news about the passing of our cousin, Kenneth Richard Roys in Houston, TX. He was 66 and is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Rocky Roys, his sons Richard Bryant and his partner Darin, Jose and his wife Carrie, and Alex. He is also survived by his mother Mary, his sister Linda, her son Shea and his wife Sherrie.
5/2010 - Renda (d of Marilyn Van Dyke) Green landed a good job with the State of Indiana auditing all grain silo operations in the entire state.
2/28/2009 - I created our Family's Website.
2/2010 - Bob (h of Virginia Roys) DeWells moved back home to Vicksburg, MI from St Petersburg, FL to live with his daughter, Diane, GrandDaughter, Vicki Lee and his two Great Grand Children.
5/2009 - I, Tommy, became a member of Ancestry.com under our login of RebeccasChip and created the White-Roys-Pratt-Van Dyke Family Tree
8/13/2009 - Esther Mae Roys-Van Dyke, My Mom, moved into our home in Venice, FL and with her came all the memories, photos, and a few family heirlooms of my past and the stories of her family members passed on.
8/10/10 - Esther Mae Roys moved to Florida to continue her hip rehab and be closer to family. Upon arrival, she had to be hospitalized in Venice Florida to recover from a heart problem.
7/1/2010 - Esther Mae Roys is recovering from a fall resulting in a broken hip at her nursing home in South Bend.
6/2009 - Jeffrey Thomas Van Dyke passed his simulator tests and received his promotion as an electrical engineer and Systems Operator & Dispatcher at Progress Energy power company in St Petersburg, FL.
5/2009 - Jill Lauren Van Dyke received a promotion as an quality control analyst at SCC Soft Computer in Clearwater, FL.
6/2008 - I, Tommy, started a senior home care company up in Bradenton, FL called Tender Loving Caregivers, LLC dba Visiting Angels of Bradenton & Manatee Co.
