The preface of this document is one to exposing the Anti-Semitic Translations of the Roman Church on "portions" of the New Testament. I do not say the entirety of translations from the Vulgate are wrong, only that key passages are consciously and consistently translated to obscure any reference to a Torah observant life.
Some of the most important things to know is that when the writers of the New Testament and even Yeshua HaMassiah (Bless the Name) Himself refer to "The Word of God", they are specifically referring to THE TORAH or one of the Prophets. This one fact alone, when applied to interpretation almost entirely changes the Modern Common Era "traditional" message of the New Testament.
Another important thing to acknowledge is that hardly any of our Church leaders Read and Understand Hebrew or Greek. This is one of the greatest handicaps we have and plays right into the Anti-Semitic agenda. I personally, do read and understand Hebrew with excellent comprehension and my Greek is moderate, yet still much further advanced than most Christians can declare. In short, I understand the essence of the Holy Scriptures in the original language and that is supported by The Holy Spirit, All Praise be to Yah.
This Document will also show that Martin Luther did not go far enough in exposing Politics In Translation.
I have outlined a message that I received from a believer, my commentary is on passages they quote that they were taught from Roman Church teachers to guide them in understanding "Clean" foods. My Commentary is below.
ROMAN TEACHING #1:
Part A.
Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean). Mark 7: 18 - 19
FALSE
Answer: One of the most important rules in interpretation is to refer to the WHOLE passage NOT isolate 1 verse. when we put in perspective the whole chapter, Yeshua is addressing the Pharisees and Scribes of The Torah. They found fault in the Disciples not being "ritually clean" through a Mikvah (ritual washing) and in particular the hand washing necessary for observation in the Temple.
An elementary introduction to the Laws of Tumah & Tahar (Unclean & Clean) reveal that there are several levels of uncleanliness in the instructions given to Moses and Aaron by God Himself. Yes, Yah spoke these rules of sanctification and Moses wrote them down exactly as recorded in Torah. So, I say in order that the reader clearly understands, that these are Yeshuas Laws. He gave them. And we know that Yeshuah is the same yesterday, today and forever. Will you only apply that to certain things?
With that said, I refer to earlier verses in Mark Chapter 7 (the passage in question) where Jerome and/or The Roman Church ADDS TO THE WORD OF GOD to persecute Torah keeping, i.e. the Jews.
Mark 7:8) ἀφέντες ( to disregard) τὴν (these) ἐντολὴν (Commandments) τοῦ (of) θεοῦ (God) κρατεῖτε (to empower) τὴν (these) παράδοσιν (spoken instructions) τῶν (that) ἀνθρώπων (of Man)...... AND THATS IT. Half of the verse that is in our English versions IS NOT THERE! Mark 7:8b "the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do." This half of the verse is not in the Greek manuscripts and inserted by Roman Politic
AN OBVIOUS "HIT" CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE TORAH NOT THE TRADITIONS. The washing instructions for utensils are given initially in the Law (Commandments, Torah) and not from the Oral Traditions. Yet Jerome artificially quotes these utensil washings as being Oral Traditions and attempts to disqualify Torah as a necessity in our lives. This is outrageous and a cardinal sin to use their own Roman terms. Now we see clearly how the Church in General, who had no bibles for centuries swallowed the whole fish with hook, line and sinker. Its now just accepted for granted doctrine, and no one reads the Greek to save themselves.
Part B.
He says, "Christ declared all foods are clean for us to eat, stating that it is not food that defiles a man, but it’s the things that come from his heart that are more important".
FALSE
(AND THIS MIGHT BE THE MOST IMPORTANT FINDING)
Answer: Food still defiles until it passes, but Sin can not be washed away without Messiah. Christ did not make a declaration against the diet found in Torah. To say so is adding to the Word of Yah, yet again! Yeshua is simply adding that it is a heart matter that makes us unclean Permanently, with no recourse to be cleansed again. Unlike what we eat, that passes and soon we will be clean, even without a washing. But how would this false teacher know that unless he studied TORAH. He would not know that there are certain time-frames for specific levels of impurity.
Mark 7:19 ὅτι (Because) οὐκ (not) εἰσπορεύεται (go into) αὐτοῦ (himself) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) καρδίαν (heart) ἀλλ' (rather) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) κοιλίαν (belly), καὶ (and) εἰς (into) τὸν (the) ἀφεδρῶνα (dump) ἐκπορεύεται (goes out); καθαρίζων (announced clean) πάντα (all) τὰ (that) βρώματα (was eaten).
So, obviously to be “announced clean” as in this case, whatever went into a man was unclean temporarily until purified, else it would not need to be purified.
Observation: If Yeshua made it clear and taught His Disciples that all food was clean in Mark 7, why was Peter still keeping a Torah Diet in Acts Chapter 10? We will visit that passage too and the misleading teaching there too.
Conclusion to Roman Teaching #1 Part A & B: I really hope this misdirected teacher who said, "we are no longer led by old Jewish food laws" starts studying those Old Jewish Food Laws so that he knows what pleases The Creator, as well as keep the heart issues clean and sin free.
ROMAN TEACHING #2
"In the same way that new believers in the early church were not required to be circumcised" Answer: The misled person here obviously does not read Greek and also does not refer to the passage for discussion. But that's ok, because I know that mistranslated passage as well.
Act 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, (saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment):
FALSE
Now.... Do you want to see how it reads in Greek?
Acts 15:24 Ἐπειδὴ (Now) ἠκούσαμεν (we hear) ὅτι (that) τινὲς (certain) ἐξ (outside) ἡμῶν (ego) [ἐξελθόντες] (went out) ἐτάραξαν (to trouble) ὑμᾶς (you) λόγοις (spoken ideas) ἀνασκευάζοντες (to dismantle) τὰς (this) ψυχὰς (spirit) ὑμῶν (of yours), οἷς (what is) οὐ (not)διεστειλάμεθα (ordered). AND AGAIN! THAT'S IT. HALF THE PASSAGE IS MISSING. What half? the most important half. The subject matter. The Church Translators ADD, Acts 15:24b "Saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment) "THEY ADDED THAT! The apostles NEVER commanded NOT keeping Torah. Yet, the political translators make it look sinister that anyone would teach keeping The Law / Torah.
WAIT! Did the Romans try to Stop us from Keeping Torah?!!! Wow. Again half of the verse is not there! Acts 15:24b "Saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment". They add words to the English to actually do the Subverting of Souls that they warn about.
Conclusion to Roman Teaching #2: I wonder if this guy is starting to realize that he should learn to read the Bible before teaching it? Seriously.
ROMAN TEACHING #3
"We are led by the Spirit of God, and He guides us in all things" Wow. Really? Who was he listening to when he did not study or understand the passages and yet reports that he knows Gods will in this. It is not his fault. Everyone was fooled by Rome who came from the Church.
ROMAN TEACHING #4
“I know and am convinced on the authority of the Lord Jesus that no food, in and of itself, is wrong to eat. But if someone believes it is wrong, then for that person it is wrong.” Romans 14:14
ANSWER: IT DOES NOT SAY FOOD in Greek. In fact what ever translation that he is using is WAY OFF. Adding what ever politic they want to now?? Wow. You see that there is NO word "Food" in the passage. Romans 14:14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
Ok, So I need to refer to proper guidelines of translation again. READ THE WHOLE CHAPTER, and use the original language in important doctrine passages. I refer to Verse 2 to get started here.
Here is the Main Verse that is used to mislead in Romans 14
Romans 14:2 ὃς (when) μὲν (New Moon) πιστεύει (confident) φαγεῖν (to eat) πάντα (all things), ὁ (and) δὲ (then) ἀσθενῶν (to be weak) λάχανα (on vegetables) ἐσθίει (to eat).
Here we find evidence of the campaign to erase New Moon observations for Believers in the New Testament and NOTHING to do with Torah diet. But the Anti-Semitic writers attempt to kill 2 birds with 1 stone in this passage. The Biblical Diet and The New Moon. You will find the Chapter is decidedly more about eating on Holy Days than Kosher Diet, especially when vs. 14 (The Passage in question) DOES NOT EVEN MENTION FOOD.
Romans 14:14 οἶδα (I see) καὶ (indeed)πέπεισμαι (persuaded) ἐν (by) κυρίῳ (Sovereign) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) ὅτι (that) οὐδὲν (nothing) κοινὸν (unclean) δι'(for) ἑαυτοῦ (himself): εἰ (weather) μὴ (no) τῷ (that) λογιζομένῳ (count) τι (some) κοινὸν (profane) εἶναι (to be), ἐκείνῳ (for them) κοινόν (profaned). SPEAKING OF FEAST DAYS NOT TORAH DIET.
ROMAN TEACHING #5
"They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” 1 Timothy 4: 3 -5
Answer:
v.3 says that they will order them to abstain from the specific diet "ἀπέχεσθαι (abstain) βρωμάτων (Diet) ἃ (which) ὁ (that) θεὸς (God) ἔκτισεν (outlined / formed)
v.4 ὅτι (that) πᾶν (each) κτίσμα (founded) θεοῦ (God) καλόν (in excellence), καὶ (also) οὐδὲν (nothing) ἀπόβλητον (unclean) μετὰ (and then) εὐχαριστίας (give thanks) λαμβανόμενον (take to yourself),
v.5 ἁγιάζεται (consecrated) γὰρ (for) διὰ (by means of) λόγου (the sayings of) θεοῦ (God) καὶ (and) ἐντεύξεως (in agreement). So, basically the foods that were consecrated in Gods word are what is promoted here.
SO THIS IS A FABULOUS PASSAGE THAT TEACHES TO KEEP THE TORAH DIET! TOTALLY AWESOME! THANK YOU!
ROMAN TEACHING #6
False teacher says, "There is also the vision Peter experiences in Acts 10: 9 - 16 where he sees previously “unclean” animals come down from heaven and hears God tell him to arise, kill and eat. When Peter objects to eating “unclean” foods as per the Jewish foods laws (EVEN AFTER MARK CH. 7 AND BEFORE THE CRUSIFIXION (NEW TESTAMENT), WHERE SUPPOSEDLY EVERTHING WAS MADE CLEAN, PETER KEPT THE TORAH DIET BEFORE AND AFTER THE CROSS AND AFTER CORNELIUS), "God tells him not to call anything He has made clean, unclean. This vision has a double meaning (NO.... IT DOES NOT HAVE A DOUBLE MEANING. SPECULATION) since soon after Peter is called to go and eat at a gentile (non Jewish) man’s house (UM, NO HE WAS NOT CALLED TO EAT, HE WAS CALLED TO.. Acts 10:22b "into his house, and to hear words of thee". BUT LETS CONTINUE, "one who before Christ, was considered “unclean.” WELL YOU FINALLY GOT THAT RIGHT, IT WAS THE MAN THAT WAS THE SUBJECT OF THE VISION/METAPHOR FOR REACHING THE GENTILES. ACTS 10:28b "But God hath shewed me that I should not call any MAN common or unclean.
Acts 10:15
Oh! I almost forgot! Acts 10:15 Jerome / Roman Church purposely mistranslated “What” God has called clean, instead of, “Who” God has called clean to askew the subject again.
PLEASE READ "CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN" ON THIS SITE FOR MORE EVIDENCE OF ROMAN INFLUENCE ON THE SCRIPTURES.
