There are many different ways to close a deal and the best close to use will change depending on the situation, the client and what is being sold. However, a close always needs to be done – a sales person must always open the door to a sale rather than just wait and see. Here are the most common closes.
Direct – Can I have your Business?
Assumptive – When are you going to send me the order form?
Alternative – Are you going to send me the order form today or tomorrow?
Are you going to be ordering one or two?
Suggestive - I’d suggest we put you down for one now and then if you want more then we can increase the order
