WALK SUNDAY 8TH JUNE

John and Kay’s walk on 8th June will start at the Binstead Arms (formerly The Fleming Arms) which is a dog friendly pub/restaurant on Binstead Road, Ryde, PO33 3RD. As the car parking is limited please car share if possible.

The walk will start at 10.30am sharp from the Binstead Arms car park. The entrance is between the pub and Maher Ross, Letting Agents. From there we will walk to Holy Cross Church, then on to Quarr Abbey where we will stop for 20/30 minutes for a coffee or walk around the grounds.

We will walk back to Binstead Arms for lunch at 12.45pm. Sunday Roasts are available in small and regular and also a nut roast.

If anybody does not want to walk back from Quarr please bring your Bus Pass to catch the bus from Quarr to the Pub for lunch. The walk is mainly flat and only one gentle slope. It is about 1.5 miles to Quarr Abbey from The Binstead Arms.
