1- 8 1L followed by partner casts below 3s, 1L crosses and dances up behind Men as 1M dances up centre to 1st places on opposite side and 1s set
9-16 1M followed by partner repeat above Fig and set in own places
17-24 1s lead down the middle and back
25-32 1s+2s dance Poussette. 213

A GIN AND TONIC (M-(S96+R96)) 3C set Gordon Scott Three Hands Across

Strathspey
1- 8 1s+2s dance Espagnole:
 1-2 1s+2s cross (Ladies lead across RH passing between Men) with Ladies changing places RH
 3-4 1s+2s cross back (Men lead across RH between Ladies) with Men changing places RH
 5-8 2s turn RH as 1s turn LH to face 1st corners
9-16 1s turn 1st corner, partner, 2nd corner and partner
17-24 1s reels of 3 on opposite sides, LSh to 1st corners to start
25-32 1s turn RH, cast, ½ Fig of 8 through 3s

Repeat twice as Strathspey then three times as Reel

THE GLENS OF ANGUS (R4x32) 4C set Douglas Henderson RSCDS Book 23

1- 8 1s+2s and 3s+4s change places on sides (Ladies LH and Men RH) and retaining hands all Balance-in-Line, repeat back to places and Balance-in-Line
9-16 All dance reels of 4 on sides (Ladies LSh and Men RSh) with 1s crossing at bottom (1s end at top on opposite sides BtoB facing 2s)
17-24 1s dance the Spurtle:
 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 2s and turn partner RH to face 3s, 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 3s and turn partner RH to face 4s
25-32 1s dance ½ reel with 4s and turn RH to 4th place opposite sides, all set and cross RH 1s ending in 4th place

9-16 1s set advancing to 1st corners and turn 1st corners 2H finishing 1M between 3s, 1L between 2s. 1s set advancing to 2nd corners, turn 2nd corners 2H and retain 2nd corner's LH
17-24 1M+2s also 1L+3s circle 3H round to Left, 1s pull back RSh to face up/down set. 1s set, petronella turn to 2nd place own sides

33-40 1s+4s dance Ladies' Chain and end in original places
41-48 1s followed by 2s+3s+4s cast and 1s make an arch at bottom of set while others dance under arch to top

1- 8 1s lead down the middle and back to top
9-16 1s cast 1 place (2s step up) and cross passing LSh, cast round 1st corner and turn partner LH to face 1st corners
17-32 1s dance Corner Chain with 1st and 2nd corners:
 1s change places RH with 1st corners, 1st corners turn LH in centre and return to places giving RH to 1s who turn LH in centre to face 2nd corners
 1s change places RH with 2nd corners, 2nd corners turn LH in centre and return to places giving RH to 1s and 1s end with ½ turn LH to end 2nd place own sides

9-16 1s+2s dance Poussette (end with 1s facing 1st corners)
17-24 1s dance ½ diagonal reel of 4 with 1st corners, pass LSh and dance ½ reel with 2nd corners (1s end 2nd place opposite side)
25-32 3M+1M+2M petronella turn into centre and set while 3L+1L+2L set and petronella turn into centre, all turn partners RH (end in Allemande hold)
33-40 3s+1s+2s dance Allemande
