Cantine Rallo

Soleras 20yr Old Marsala. 50cl. (dessert wine).  £25.00. A full dry, yet smooth and rich wine which has been aged for over 20 years in small oak casks via a Solera system. A perfect wine to serve at the end of a meal with its heady nutty flavours, caramel notes and mouth-watering backbone of acidity. Pair with ripe creamy cheeses for a full-on taste sensation.

Lessini Durello Prosecco.    £10.90.   An elegant non-vintage sparkling wines from the hills of Lessinia. Citrus and gently floral aromas lead to a very fresh and zippy palate with crisp green apple and lightly honeyed characters.

Collefrisio

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. DOC. £11.35. Ruby red colour. A strong fruity scent, containing hints of spices, cherry plum and jam. Well balanced and lasting taste. This is a rich, deeply savoury, complex version of that old Italian classic.

Latium

Amarone Della Valpolicella “Campo Leon” DOC. 2003. £32.00. Healthy fruit at peak ripeness is hand harvested and air dried for 100 to 120 days in small baskets. This wine has fantastic ripe, healthy fruit aromas, a rich and profound palate and superb, fleshy tannin and length. Balancing minerality makes this superbly drinkable.

La Vita Sociale

Prosecco, Spumante, DOC, Veneto.  £11.10.   Crisp and delicious with aromatic apple and pear aromas on the nose followed by a crisp palate of succulent fruits. Gently foamy, just off dry and possessing an enticing, bright finish.

Mabis, Biscardo

Prosecco Spumante Millesimato, DOC, Veneto, 2019.   £12.80.   Elegant, delicate and aromatic Prosecco with hints of apples and honeysuckle. Very easy to enjoy.

Novapalma,

Prosecco, DOC, Friuli Venezia Giulia.   £14.30.   A light straw yellow wine, fresh and fruity, with light notes of wild flowers and fresh fruit. Fresh, balanced and with beautiful fruity notes. The mousse is thin and well diffused and in the mouth it is soft and round.

Pradio

Passaparola, Prosecco, Spumante DOC, Veneto, £13.30.   This classic from the North of Italy is a delicious sparkler with aromatic pear flavours on the nose followed by a crisp palate of succulent apple and pear. Gently foamy, with a crisp and delicate finish, drink on it's own or in true venetian style, as a Bellini.

Produttori del Gavi

Il Forte, Gavi DOCG £12.25. Straw yellow, with a classic green tint. This Gavi recalls hints of acacia flowers, pear, passion fruit and pineapple. The mouth feel is sapid, long, fresh and elegant. Light weight and with good acidity. This wine is wonderfully versatile.

Mille951, Gavi DOCG del Comune di Gavi £13.70. On the nose this is an aromatic wine with pear standing out as well as peach, apricot and yellow plum. On the mouth it is fresh, sapid, easy to drink with subtle almond flavours. Harmonious and balanced, with a good weight and flavour intensity, as well as fresh acidity that sings throughout and for an impressive time after. This is what Gavi is all about.

Sensi

Sangiovese/Cabernet. “Testardo” £ 14.95. From its intense red colour it has a full taste with aromas of vanilla, tobacco and flowers with a final taste of soft and velvety tannins.
