SCHEDULE A SURGERY APPOINTMENT
We are thankful you have chosen our spay/neuter clinic to provide your pet with high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter surgery. Every pet that enters our care matters and is treated with love and respect. Whether you are new to our clinic, or you have brought a multitude of pets to us, please read over the information below as there has been some recent changes to our check-in and check-out procedures.
PAYMENT: You will pay a $40 deposit per pet when scheduling. Once surgery is complete, you will be emailed a statement with a link to pay online. If you have a question regarding the statement, you can ask when picking up your pet. With our surgery prices already being low-cost, we do not offer discounts on multiple pets or on multiple services.
PET DROP OFF: When you arrive, please let us know your name/pet name. We will have you complete the necessary medical records, and then take your pet from you one family at a time. Please be patient and do not crowd together. We anticipate this to go very quickly. CATS MUST BE IN A CRATE - PLEASE LABEL THE CRATE WITH YOUR NAME AND YOUR PET’S NAME. DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH.
PATIENT RETURN: You will be given written discharge instructions and it will be critical that you read those and follow them. In particular – please ensure your pet has a clean, dry place to recover. Please make sure they cannot lick or chew at their incision, and that they are not being too active during the 10-day recovery period. Check the incision twice daily and let us know if you see signs of infection. Each day the incision should look better, not worse. Do NOT put anything on the incision – no ointments, creams, ace bandages or tape. Human over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Tylenol or Advil are not safe for pets. If you wish for your pet to have pain medication, please order take home pain medication AT THE TIME YOU DROP YOUR PET OFF for $10.
