started cueing in 2012 and they began teaching in 2013. They graduated from John and Karen Herr’s Rocky Mountain cuer’s class in 2013.
They have taught at South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia State Conventions, and Spring Fling in Gatlinburg. They currently teach Beginners through Phase 5 in Seneca, South Carolina and cue for two square dance clubs.
Beginning November 2017, they will be instructing the round dance program at Strawberry Square in Plant City, Florida for five months. They will be teaching every week one line dance and six round dance classes beginners through phase 5.
During their stay in Florida, they also dance at the Stardust Dance Center under the direction of Curt and Tammy Worlock.
They are members of Roundalab, ICBDA, DRDC, Georgia Round Dance Teacher’s Association, South Carolina Caller’s Association, West Coast (Florida) Square and Round Dance Association, and Florida Round Dance Council.
We thoroughly enjoy teaching students to dance and believe that everyone can achieve a level that is enjoyable and beneficial for a healthy life.
Tom’s excellent musical timing comes from a music oriented family with his mother who enjoyed tap dancing and parents who ball room danced. He spent many hours with his grandmother who played the piano and organ.
Cindy began tap, ballet, and jazz lessons when she was four and danced for twenty five years. She taught three through twelve year olds for eight years at a dance studio in Findlay, Ohio. At the Senior Center in Seneca South Carolina she taught Beginning Tap and has taught Line Dancing there since 2013.
