The GRDTA is a group of teachers and cuers who are from Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Alabama. Our group was formed in 1986 and has flourished over the years to include up to 25 teachers and their dancing partners, all from various backgrounds.  Those that came before us started something great here with the GRDTA.  Please take a few moments to browse our site, get to know us and what we're all about. We have a lot of new faces within our group and we hope to carry on the legacy of Round Dancing in Georgia and our neighboring states.  If you have need of a cuer for your dance, or need a series of classes taught in your area, please contact a teaching unit in your area and allow us to meet your round dancing needs.  Please be sure to keep up-to-date with our area events on our Schedule Page.

The GRDTA has been honored to have been able to bring you dances every year since 1986.  Each year we were able to bring you clinics in November, and in recent years we were able to revive our springtime clinic, as well.

We are currently under a bit of "reconstruction" with group membership and our efforts of securing traveling clinicians that will work with us as a dance hosting group to be able to bring you dance weekends for your enjoyment.

As of now, February 2024, we do not have plans to be able to host a springtime dance this year.  We are hopeful for a November dance, but stay tuned to see if that develops.

GRDTA members Matt & Ramona and Tom & Cindy are combining their talents to offer up to dancers a springtime dance weekend that they hope you will want to join them to dance in Cornelia, GA.  This is not sponsored or hosted by the GRDTA.  It is hosted by Tom & Cindy and Matt & Ramona.

As always, if you have any questions, please let us know.  Also, be sure to keep up-to-date with our area events on our Schedule Page,

Hope to see you throughout 2023 !!
