Artists commonly use Adobe Photoshop to alter photos or sometimes design graphics. In the case of graphic design, professional graphic artists commonly use InDesign or Illustrator as well. Visit this site to determine which option is best for your artistic needs. Some web designers typically use Dreamweaver for web design and there is also Fireworks both of which are also part of the Adobe Creative Suite. There are vast amounts of Adobe Creative Suite tutorials out there. Something to remember is that each version (i.e. Cs4 vs Cs6) have different tool options. Of course the newer versions are going to give you more and better tools to work with. Adobe now offers monthly and yearly Creative Cloud (CC) memberships for their products that require purchase. *There special pricing options for students and teachers where they give a bit of a discount. Of course you can always do a Google search for whatever program you want to learn about or whatever thing it is you are hoping to accomplish. However, there are a few of places you can find a plethora of tutorials for these programs are Adobe, YouTube, and this amazing site called Lynda. Lynda provides around a thousand tutorials for Adobe software alone but they also offer thousands of tutorials on a whole bunch of other programs as well. Lots of Lynda's tutorials are free but not all of them. Lynda also offers paid memberships but they give you unlimited access to ALL of their software tutorials, not just a specific one, and they have different membership options available.
