From April 2011, I am an Associate Professor at ILLC (Institute for Logic, Language and Computation), University of Amsterdam, NL.

PREVIOUS AFFILIATIONS:

Between 2001 and 2011, I was University Lecturer at Oxford University, in the Department of Computer Science.

Between 1998 and 2001, I was a post-doctoral researcher at CWI, (Dutch Center for Mathematics and Computer Science) & ILLC (Institute for Logic, Language and Computation), University of Amsterdam, NL

I obtained my Ph. D. in Mathematics in 1998 at IU Department of Mathematics, Indiana University; (USA), under the supervision of Jon Barwise.

Between 1992 and 1993 I was a scientific researcher at Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania.

I obtained my Masters in Mathematics at University of Bucharest in 1989.
