Engineer in Industrial Management by the Engineering School of Bilbao (UPV/EHU) and PhD by the University of the Basque Country.

She is a lecturer and researcher in the Engineering School of Bilbao. Her teaching activity focuses on the area of competitiveness and business innovation, and the design and management of production systems. Her research activity includes the following areas: management of innovation and new production models, entrepreneurship, as well as the application of different methods ranging from scientometrics to text mining
