Dr Walsh grew up in Western Colorado and her love for animals, medicine, and science lead her down the veterinary path. In the process of earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at our own Colorado State University, she fell in love with the pain management and comprehensive care concepts.
After vet school, Dr. Walsh went on to complete training in Veterinary Chiropractic at the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic. She also received her certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
The next step of her path took her to the University of Tennessee's Certificate Program in Canine Physical Rehabilitation. She enjoys being able to pair rehab and chiropractic to care for her canine patients more thoroughly.
Dr Walsh then went on to become certified in Veterinary Acupuncture. She is enjoying having that added skill in her toolbox to allow her to provide even more comprehensive care to her patients.
Currently living in Colorado Springs, Dr. Walsh is enjoying her work and loving being in the mountains. She enjoys hiking and camping with her husband, dogs, and horses. She has become an avid equestrian and enjoys competing in 3-Day Eventing.
