One man's call to RESPECT

RESPECT runs a government funded helpline for abusers and also a helpline (approx £360k per year). for men experiencing violence from their partner. This man (no doubt one of 1,144 abusers) rang seeking help, he recorded his conversation which has here been written up into a dialogue. The dialogue for one man's call to RESPECT is contained in the following document 1 of the 43 % who could be given a nearby programme. https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0ARcVYKrhnJNhZGc2ZzI5enBfMjA1Zjh2OW56YzM&hl=en

The man obviously rang the wrong number, but the operative quickly adjusted to "abuser line", and switched into "motivational interviewing" - to help the man "commit" to a programme.

Funding wise, do RESPECT claim money for running two help lines and co-man them? And if so, is this reflected in the Home Office funding?
