I have been a Consultant General Surgeon with specialist interest in Laparoscopic (Key-hole or Minimal Access) surgery. I carry out open and Laparoscopic repair of all abdominal wall hernias ((inguinal,femoral, abdominal wall, recurrent, incisional types). My sub-interest is to assess, sign post and treat 'Sportsman Groin or Footballer's Hernia' or 'Groin Strain' in young athletes presenting with groin pain.

My specialty Interest is Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery and diagnostic/ advanced Upper GI Endoscopy. I routinely carry out surgery for gall stones, acid reflux problem and hiatus hernia.
