Due February 15th

1) Write a reaction blog of your thoughts on the privacy and safety issues section of the reading. Explain the things you agree with and disagree with and how the section relates to computer usage in schools and at home. After you have written your blog, make a comment on two of your classmates postings.

Due February 13th

2) Topic paper 2:

Why are there technology standards for students and teachers?

a) Identify and summarize the technology standards for students and teachers. Choose one standard for students and one standard for teachers that you believe should be emphasized over the others. Explain why.

b) How will you work toward achieving the two standards (one for students, one for teachers) in your future classroom?

Topic papers should be at least two pages long (double spaced) and written as one coherent document that addresses all of the statements/questions above. The italicized question should be used as the central theme of the paper. Make sure to reference your reading and other sources for support as you answer this question.
