You will be creating and building a website through google sites. To get started you will need a gmail account. If you already have one, you're good to go and can skip to step #2.
Step #1: Creating a gmail account. Go to www.gmail.com and follow the instructions for creating a new account. (Gmail is free of charge)
Step #2: Once you have created a gmail account you are ready to set up your website. Go to the more button on the top of the page.
Find sites and click on create new (you can also go to www.sites.google.com). Here you can select a blank template or one that has already been put together. I suggest that you choose the "teacher page" template. There will be a lot of unneeded information on the template, but it is relatively easy to clean it up.
Your site name should be the first letter of your first name followed by your last name and math378.
Example: John Doe's site
jdoemath378
After you have created your site you will need to add and edit pages. We will discuss this process in class. If you are having difficulties, here is a website with many tutorials.
