About Me

My name is Daniela Hasa. Some of you already know me from the previous years, while there could be other students who do not know me or they have not been in any of my classes.

I have been teaching at this faculty for 13 years and my subjects have mainly dealt with linguistics issues. 

I have a master degree on linguistics and PhD degree on linguistics as well. My area of research has been mainly on lexicology and semantics, using a contrastive approach when analyzing more specifically euphemisms and homonyms in both languages, Albanian and English.

I teach at both levels, bachelor and master in our Faculty. At the master level, I teach the subject that we will be dealing together during the second semester. The subject involves techniques and strategies of teaching English as a Foreign Language with the integration of technology and multimedia elements.

My interests, besides teaching and studying about languages, involve also interpretation and translation in both languages, which I practice occasionally as a free-lancer. I also like exploring on internet, especially sites that contain technology integrated teaching. I like travelling a lot, discovering new cultures and languages, of course.
