Our Staff

Laura Catapano has been working with young children in a variety of settings for over ten years. After getting her B.A. in Writing from Ithaca College, she followed her passion for inspiring young children by coordinating a small "summer camp" for five children. She is in her third year at the Ithaca Waldorf School where she is a Kindergarten Assistant. She has a special way of relating to children, and in her presence they feel safe and respected.

Gina Varrichio has been an early childhood educator and childcare provider since her teenage years. She has worked in preschools, Montessori classrooms, religious education, and in-home childcare. Gina is the partner of Pat Sewell and mama of 8-year-old Drew, who she currently homeschools. Gina is passionate about cultivating environments where children are respected and valued and finding ways to include them in meaningful work.
