IS THIS PROJECT FOR YOU?

We are looking for adults who have experienced a significant traumatic event, such as:

Natural disaster
Fire/explosion
Accident
Physical assault
Sexual assault
Combat/warzone exposure

SYMPTOMS OF PTSD INCLUDE:

Intrusive thoughts or memories of your traumatic experience
Difficulty sleeping
Bad feelings such as anger, shame, or guilt that won't go away
Feeling keyed up or on edge

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

1) Screening by phone, website, or in person

2) If eligible, initial symptom assessment

3) 8 sessions of cognitive-behavior therapy

4) 2 follow-up assessments, completed after the 4th and 8th therapy sessions

HOW DO I SEE IF I'M ELIGIBLE?

If you are experiencing PTSD symptoms, you may be eligible. Participants will earn up to $75 ($25 for each of the 3 assessments), as well as receive 8 sessions of cognitive-behavioral therapy.
