Navigational Scatters

A Navigational Scatter or NavScat is a map based roadrally. You are given a set of points. The test is to go through the points in the shortest distance. Sometime you are rrquired to go through all of the points but the more intersesting ones make you select x of y points. You may also be given places to avoid to make it more challenging. These avoids can be sensitive areas or just a way to keep you off the big roads and on the fun roads.

If you enjoy puzzles and driving fun roads without worrying about being on time this might be the kind of event you are looking for. The way we determine your diriving distance is using GPS transponders plus your cell phone. The cell phone alerts you when you pass a waypoint.
