Patient Case: Parkinson's disease
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a long-term degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system.
An elderly male patient suffering from PD. It is known that Parkinson's disease symptoms will worsen progressively over time. His condition naturally deteriorated, requiring increased medical dosage. Due to the need to consume numerous types of medications arising from other medical illnesses, it has put additional psychology stress on him, hence his family wanted to try TCM.
Before treatment: His left hand is stiff and tremor involuntary, left leg has looping act while walking and saliva drooling from mouth. He has too the sensation of tight chest, probably psychologically induced.
After treatment: In the early part of treatment his tremor and chest tightness have been relieved. He continues treatment regularly as planned, now his hand is softer and walk much better than before. The drooling saliva is also lesser as observed by his wife.
