Patient Case: Droopy eyelid (Ptosis)
An early 20-year-old lady underwent cosmetically eyelid rectification. After that it caused her left eye to lose ability to open fully. The sagging appearance made her look tired and restless artificially.
Upper eyelid drooping is also known as ptosis. It creates a sleepy eye look and may interfere with vision when severity sets in. Weaknesses of eyelid muscle, looseness of skin and nerve damage are common causes.
