A realistic approach to urban disaster. Each space was chosen for its proximity to a major population center, whose utility pathways would become impromptu shelters from the atrocities above ground. Shot in the style of the Terminator series, THX 1138, Metro, and other forms of popular science-fiction media featuring themes of shelter and survival, I envisioned each location as a new home, a temporary reprieve, or purgatory for the fleeing denizen.

The occupants of these dark holes walk over unforgiving terrain and breath stale air. They teem shoulder to shoulder screaming above each other in a growing swell of inescapable paranoia. Mother and child huddle in the dirt, absolute darkness penetrating their mind and causing hallucinations that paralyze them from movement. One foot dangles in Hell while the other desperately clings to life without light.
