Tatum got her start in radio, hosting news and music programs for WCWM 90.9 FM at the College of William and Mary in Virginia as well as at the commercial station WLOE 1470 AM in North Carolina.

A member of SAG-AFTRA since 2008, her work has encompassed promotional, narrative, commercial, and theatrical voices for clients including NBC Dateline, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Arlington Independent Media, and Cherry Red Productions.
