我希望能找到當年我父親及祖父在仁川住所的地址. 三叔年初時在台北告訢我當年他仁川的家就在國民黨的黨部旁邊.
感謝韓國姜抮亞教授, 她在電郵中說:
".... I can give you some clue for your family's residence in Incheon. In 1937, Tan family's two members, Tan Ting Kun and Tan Ting Ze respectively submitted the withdrawal form to Japanese government. One periodical report about public security issued by Japanese government carried one article about the comtemporary withdrawal of Chinese and introduced two person's case. The article indicated two address. One is the address in Seoul of Tan Ting Kun. The other is Incheon address of Tan Ting Ze. The Incheon address is 仁川府弥生町29. The address naming must be changed after 1945.
If you like to see the original report, please follow the below site and click the image button. Page 4 indicates Tan Ting Kun's address and Page 5 show Tan Ting Ze's address.

Hi Frank,
I found that 弥生町 (미생정) is now a part of 선린동 (Sollin-dong) in Inchon. [1] However, I'm not sure the street address (29) was kept across the name change. Even if it is, '29번지' (29 番地) is not very specific (there are a lot of buildings with different '호' (戶) in 29번지).
Anyway, it should be about right because it's right in the middle of China town in Inchon.
Below is a link to 'Inchon, Jung-gu, Sollin-dong 29' at maps.google.co.kr (note that if you use maps.google.com, you won't see anything because map tiles for Korea can only be served at google.co.kr).
