Tamara Foy Wilborn lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, Jeff, and daughter, Katie Bryn. She is passionate about painting, music, and cooking. When she is not in Louisville you can find her at the family home on the beach in Melbourne.

"Art for me is a means of expressing the emotions in life through a nonverbal, yet visual way." Edward Hopper so aptly stated, “If you could say it in words there would be no reason to paint.”

"A painting is more than an image on canvas, it’s the feelings and emotions each piece evokes to the viewer. Every artist is moved by the evolution of something from nothing on a blank canvas. When the viewer is moved by what your feelings and thoughts have created- it’s magic."

David Foster

This was a commission Tamara did for Martha Elizabeth Foster of her late brother, David. David Foster was in publishing and if this looks familiar it is because the photograph Tamara painted it from was featured on the cover of Orvis magazine.
