Dr. Swarup Roy previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher in research group of Professor Jong-Whan Rhim at BioNanocomposite Research Center, Department of Food and Nutrition, Kyung Hee University, South Korea. He had worked on biopolymer based composite materials for food packaging and biomedical applications. (January, 2020 to November, 2021)

Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in research group of Professor Jaehwan Kim at Creative Research Center for Nanocellulose Future Composites, Inha University, South Korea. There he had worked on preparation and application of nano-cellulose-based composite material. (January, 2019 to December, 2019)

Before joining Inha University he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in research group of Professor Jong-Whan Rhim at BioNanocomposite Research Center, Department of Food and Nutrition, Kyung Hee University, South Korea. He had worked on preparation of biopolymer-based composite materials for food packaging and biomedical application. (January, 2018 to December 2018)

Dr. Swarup Roy had also worked as a postdoctoral researcher in research group of Professor Rajesh Kumar at Material Research Laboratory, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India. (March, 2016 to August 2017)
