Urban sanitation-
Urban population is increasing significantly in recent years and cities are getting hot spots for the sanitation.
Increasing population also produce a significant amount of waste in cities which contains a significant amount P and N.
Transportation of these waste back to the agricultural farm is expensive so we need a new technique which can produce mineral fertilizer from this waste i.e. PNExt
Urine contains a significant amount of nitrogen but it is difficult to collect in the urban area.
We need to look for a new way to collect urine separately mainly in urban area.
if we can collect urine in a large scale it is economical to produce mineral fertilizer from urine using PNExt technique
Can we collect urine in conventional toilet in urban area/ large cities???
solution is under developed ......................
