Studio Policy

Instruction:

As a part of the Su Qi Yong's Piano Studio, students will receive a piano education through:

-- private lessons which include ensemble (duet), theory, and sight-reading or sight singing

-- performance opportunities and competitions which provides students with more opportunities to perform on stage when they are ready!

Practice

Students are expected to practice daily. Beginner students should practice 15-30 mins a day, intermediate students should practice between 30- 60 minutes, and advanced students should practice between 2- 4 hours. Highly recommend to start using metronome during practice!

Make-up lesson

Make-up lessons will not be given unless advance notice is provided at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Lessons cancelled are stored in the student’s bank and can be used anytime during the year. Make-up lessons must be used before the end of the year (December 31^st)

Music and Other Required Materials

Students are responsible to purchase all required music, books, and metronome.

Tuition:

$37.50 30 mins, $56.25 45 mins, $75 60 mins

Deposit:

Students are required to make a one-time refundable deposit at the beginning of the first lesson. The deposit amount is equal to the cost of one lesson, and it will be returned to the student after he/she leaves the piano studio or use it as the last lesson payment.

Payment:

All fees for piano lessons are due to the 1st lesson of each month, payable by cash, Kraken (crypto), Venmo or PayPal.
