This page will serve to be useful for those trying to learn Monte Carlo (MC) Technique for the first time. The various aspects of this powerful
technique will be discussed in order to have a clear insight into the understanding of wide ranging physical and mathematical problems. Scripts of
this technique will be made available in high level programming languages such as Fortran 77, IDL, Scilab, C++ and R statistical package. Please check for the updates from time to time. My article on Variational Monte Carlo (http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12045-014-0079-x) will be very helpful for the starter. Bayesian Curve Fitting using Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC)in IDL can be found in mcmc.tar.gz file. Most of the Monte Carlo
programs provided here are for evaluation of one and multi-dimensional integrals.
