To be eligible for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Awards, you will need to comply with the 1992 Control of Dog Act which requires a dog to have a collar and a visible means of identification showing the owners name and address. A phone number is not required by law but is a sensible addition. This applies even if micro chipped. The fine is a maximum of £5,000!
