Garage Product Fair 13
Kinect Ergo Solutions - We aim at leveraging the capabilities of the Kinect to enable smart monitoring of a users posture while he or she is working. We use skeletal tracking to alert against slouching in real time. This won the Golden Volcano Award at the Maker Garage Product fair.
Here is an early version demo of the concept.
Kinect Hackathon and OneHack 14
We extended our project from the product fair of 2013 by adding sleep monitoring and were able to win another prize at the Kinect Hackathon and a top tier finish in the company wide hackathon.
Here is our official submission video for the hackathon.
COIN Hackathon
Built a prototype for 'Xbox Retail Achievements’. This was the first ever automated Retail Demo experience on the Xbox platform. This monitors engagement levels of the retail user with certain games and suggests redeemable coupons as Achievements to the user. This was awarded the best hack of the competition along with winning the most creative category.
Coin ML Challenge 17
Kaggle type companywide challenge to predict if a Window user would be perceptive of a notification/tip/ suggestion shown to them based on their device activity. I finished in the top 5 (out of 50) teams.
WDG Instantly Mine Hackathon 18
Understand the intent of a user who is typing on a PC and give contextual inline recommendations using different data sources such as Windows Indexer, Facebook Graph, Bing search etc. I built the capability to index and query a user’s timeline and friend data. The project won one of the three awards given out at the Hackathon.
Check out the sample use case for the facebook data while typing on notepad.
