President, Astronomy Club, BITS Pilani (2008-09)
As President and member of Astronomy Club, I was actively engaged in spreading the knowledge of Astronomy to students on campus and children in villages outside the campus. Had conducted various Workshops and Lecture sessions for the same. Had done pioneering work in the field of Astro-Photography on Campus. Started work to collaborate with other Universities in India and notable people/institutes in the field. My work with the Astronomy Club helped it to become one of the most sought after workshops during the technical fest APOGEE and helped the Physics Association (to which it belonged) to ease its budgetary pressure.

Winner of The Google Code Quest (Coding competition) in BITS - Pilani, represented BITS at Google Product Conclave 2008 among code quest winner teams from premier engineering institutes in India
One of the only four students who were awarded a transfer to B.E. (Hons.) Computer Science from other academic disciplines for excellent academic performance and receiver of Merit Scholarship (Awarded to Top 10 students of batch)
Top finishes in many competition including – National Top 1% rank in InCHO 2006 (Indian National Chemistry Olympiad), Top 1% rank in InPhO 2006 (Indian National Physics Olympiad), 3rd place in NCO 2005 National Creativity Olympiad and prizes at various quizzes and design competitions.
