12. Center Control

Posting the piece in the center in early middle game to late middle game.

4 center squares (e4,d4,d5,e5) are the most important squares. It's obvious someone has to take control before their opponent does.

It consists of:

* Posting the piece in the center.

* Usually a Queen/Rook/Bishop/Knight.

* No pawn moves.

* Plan is to post the piece in the center and exert pressure on other side.

* Another plan is to have access to more squares on the board.

Tests engine's strength on initiative, and mobility.
