Each player starts the season going to their established goal.
New members generally start with a 60-ball goal, although the league director may change the starting goal based on perceived skill. After each win, the goal goes up by 5 points; after each loss the goal goes down by 5 points.
There is a 150-ball maximum goal and a 25-ball minimum goal.
Goals in the end-of-session tournament are 1/3 of season high goals. The top players invited to play in the tournament are determined by number of wins, then number of losses for players with the same number of wins. The Leaderboard is sorted to show the standings on this basis.
Players may record as many matches as they can play in the session against another individual player. Everyone is encouraged to play as many people a possible throughout the session. There is no established pairing of opponents; find an opponent either at Sam's or by contacting someone on the Roster Contacts.
Cash payouts in the end-of-season tournament range from $20 to $200, depending upon the number of League memberships.
Additional $20 prizes are awarded as follows:
*Player who has played league matches with the greatest number of people in the session
*Player with the highest run.
*Player with the highest run as a percentage of their goal for that match.
*Players who play at least 10 matches
*Players with a winning record and at least 10 matches
Matches are recorded through the Match Scoring Form on this site. (Be sure to record high runs over 25% of a player's goal. These runs could be tie-breakers in determining tournament eligibility.)
