There is a new, additional cutoff: 4:30 pm is the cutoff to leave Fast Freddie's Cafe on the last loop (10:15 run time)
The race donates to:
Parking is always a concern for us due to the large number of runners. PLEASE CARPOOL to reduce the number of cars we need to handle. When you arrive at the school on the morning of the race volunteers will direct you to parking. PLEASE follow the volunteers directions for parking. DO NOT park in the fire lane directly in front of the school unless you are driving a fire truck. DO NOT park on Linebrook Road in front of the school where it says "No Parking". You WILL get a ticket. Please tell your family and friends who may arrive later to not park in the fire lane or on Linebrook Road.
Training runs will be:
Sunday October 11 at 9 AM
Saturday October 17 at 8 AM
All training runs start/finish at Doyon School and will be a single loop of the NEW course (course details to follow). We will have folks who know the course leading two groups - one will run a 2:15 loop and one a 2:45 loop (times approximate - we will not leave anyone behind)
You can teach an old cat new tricks! We are changing some sections of the course this year and you will be running it in the reverse direction, so Al can sleep in this year.
We are adding in a couple of newer single track sections that we love, and hope you will too. Fast Freddie's cafe will be in a new location. Please see the "Course" page for more information.
Stone Cat is trying to reduce waste, and recycle and compost as much as possible. We encourage you to bring your own bottle to refill at aid stations.
As you pass through aid stations, please be on the lookout for three separate bags labeled for trash, recycling, and compostable items.
· Cold and hot cups, bowls, and plates provided by the race are compostable
· Food waste free of packaging
· Plastic soda and water bottles
· Food packaging including gel packets
· Any other items that can’t be composted or recycled
Thank you for the helping us reduce waste!
