Parking

We have limited parking and we encourage you to carpool to make sure we have enough room.  When you arrive at the school you will be directed to parking.  Please do not park in the fire lane in front of the school and please tell your friends and fmaily arriving later the same.  Cars parked on Linebrook Road near the school will be ticketed.

The Start

Both races will have a dark start and you will need a light for some of the first loop.  If you drop your light at an aid station will we bring them back to the start/finish by 10 AM.

The 50 milers and marathoners will start separately.  The 50 milers will head straight out onto the 12.5 mile loop.  The marathoners will first run a 1.2 mile loop around the school, then will begin the main 12.5 mile loop.

The Home Stretch

50 Milers must start the last loop by 3:15 pm!
The cutoff will be strictly enforced.

All runners must leave Fast Freddie's Cafe by 4:30 pm!
The cutoff will be strictly enforced.  Runners who miss the cutoff will be transported back to the start/finish.

There is a 12:30 Hour Time Limit.

You will need your light again if you expect to run more than eleven hours. It will be dark at 5:30 so you must take a light on the last loop if you go out after 2:45.

Aid Stations and Drop Bags

There are three aid stations.  Aid stations are at 4.6 miles (Fast Freddie's Cafe), 8.6 miles (Al Cat's Lounge), and start/finish of loop - marathoners will run 1.2 miles first, so add that to the aid distance for the first loop.

Aid stations will be well stocked with water, tailwind, gatorade, soda, munchies, sandwiches, GACers, advice, etc.  We plan to have some vegan offerings at the finish line aid station.

We will have limited cups available for fluids.  Please carry your own bottles or hydration packs to reduce cup waste.  Each aid station will have separate bags marked for trash, recyclables, and compost.  Please help us separate waste by using the right bag!

The 4.6 and 8.6 mile aid stations are reachable by car and a short walk (under 5 minutes).  Please park off the side of the road and do not drive into the aid station as there will be no parking at the aid area.

There will be a place at the start/finish line for drop bags.
There will not be anyone guarding the bags.  There are no showers available.

Answers to FAQs
  • Pacers are allowed on the last loop of the fifty.  There is no pacer number or shirt - pacers should stay with their runner.
  • Bandits are not welcome and will not be given aid.  Running with someone else's number is also banditing.
  • There is no elevation profile available - it is rolling or flat, with a few hills, the largest single climb being 150 feet.
  • There will not be "dropdowns".  Any distance run other than the distance for which the runner is registered is a DNF.  The race does not report DNF's or DNS's to Ultrasignup.
  • This is a trail race and is not a qualifier for Boston.
