A Church for All
A Church at the Heart of the Community
In order to continue to keep St Luke's open, so that everyone in the neighbourhood can enjoy our church and churchyard and we can continue to provide Sunday services, weddings, funerals and baptisms, we need money to pay for repairs, heating, lighting, water, insurance and churchyard maintenance. To keep everyone safe, we need to pay for electrical appliances to be tested annually and defective items replaced. We also need to pay our "Parish Share" to the diocese of Chester. This covers the stipend for our vicar and important services to the parish, including training for churchwardens and PCC members, particualrly around safeguarding.
If ou would like to make a donation to help us to cover these rising costs an so enable St Luke's to continue to serve Dunham Hill and Hapsford into the next decade, it is easy to do. Simply click here to make a card payment through "Give a Little". Alternatively, scan the QR code with your smartphone.
"Give a Little" makes a small charge for administering your donation, so if you want St Luie's to get the whole of your donation, please contact our treasurer, who will be happy to tell you how you can give through a direct bank transfer. you can find his email address and telephone number on our Whos Who page.
