We apologise that much of his website is out-of-date. This is because, for some considerable time, we have been unable to edit it. We have now (February 2026) re-gained editor access and are working hard to remove inaccurate information. Please bear with us as we undertake this time-consuming task.
In order to continue to keep St Luke's open, so that everyone in the neighbourhood can enjoy our church and churchyard and we can continue to provide Sunday services, weddings, funerals and baptisms, we need money to pay for repairs, heating, lighting, water, insurance and churchyard maintenance. To keep everyone safe, we need to pay for electrical appliances to be tested annually and defective items replaced. We also need to pay our "Parish Share" to the diocese of Chester. This covers the stipend for our vicar and important services to the parish, including training for churchwardens and PCC members, particualrly around safeguarding.
If ou would like to make a donation to help us to cover these rising costs an so enable St Luke's to continue to serve Dunham Hill and Hapsford into the next decade, please contact our treasurer, who will be happy to tell you how you can give through a direct bank transfer. you can find his email address and telephone number on our Whos Who page.
