ABOUT THE SHOW
Based on the beloved book by L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables - The Musical™ follows the rise of Anne Shirley, the feisty, red-haired orphan who arrives unexpectedly in the small farming community of Avonlea in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She soon captures the hearts and minds of her newfound family and neighbors. The full-length musical premiered at Prince Edward Island's Charlottetown Festival in 1965 and holds the Guinness World Record as the longest-running annual musical theatre production in the world! The show includes 17 female roles and 12 male roles, and has a healthy ensemble. There are roles for people of all ages.

Print out the Audition Form and fill it out. Here is the audition form for Adults and here is the audition form for Children under 18. (We will have blank copies available, in case you don’t have access to a printer, but please look at the form in advance and have your answers ready, especially your conflicts.)
Prepare the selected Audition Song for the character(s) for which you want to audition. Auditioners for Josie Pye should prepare both her song and the School Kids Ensemble piece. For Adult Ensemble, you have a choice of two songs but you only need to prepare one.
To familiarize yourself with the music, you can find the show on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. (Be sure you are listening to the Charlottetown Festival version, as there are others.)
Callbacks will be by invitation after all auditions have been completed. If you'd like to look ahead to some additional songs that will be required for callbacks for Anne, Matthew, and Diana, you can find them here. Auditioners for other roles may be called back as well.
