Who We Are

Our Vision: We are a diverse religious community, seeking spiritual experience and all forms of knowledge in an atmosphere of acceptance, love, and respect.

Our Mission is to protect and perpetuate religious freedom, tolerance, and knowledge; to challenge injustice; and to nurture and serve one another and the wider community.

Further: Description* We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference. We stand on the side of love, justice, and peace.

We have radical roots and history as self-motivated spiritual people. We think for ourselves and recognize that we need not think alike to love alike. We have many beliefs and varied backgrounds. Some have religious background. Some have none. Some believe in a God. Some don't, but we let the mystery be.

As Unitarian Universalist we draw from many sources: Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, atheist and agnostic, believers in God, and more. 

We are on the forefront of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer movements and include people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
