Videos at Stillwater

Video my family took during the draw down of the reservoir (Sep 2, 2001)

This video coupled with the 2001 USGS Landsat 7 Imagery (Sep 3, 2001) provided an amazing amount of information to the project.  Since they were only taken a day apart, the water level was nearly identical, and all the shoals were the same size and shape.  The video provided high resolution imagery but no orthorectified position, and the USGS imagery provided the opposite.  The video was one of the first scenes taken with a brand new Sony digital video camera (on tape), and the video was captured off the camera via firewire (IEEE 1394) for a perfect digital copy 13 years later.
