February 21, 2017 - Added Historical Timeline by Ed Pitts

In the fall of 2016, Edward Pitts gave a presentation at the Rapshaw Club at Stillwater, discussing the history of the settlement of Stillwater, NY. You can read a related article he's written on the Adirondack Almanac website. At the presentation, he handed out a time line of the settlement of Stillwater. With his permission, I have posted it here. I have also incorporated his list of events into the "Historical Dates" page on this site. A link to his time line has also been included in the list of sources on that page. Thanks to Ed, for his hard work and efforts on compiling such a great resource, and for allowing it to be shared here.
