Project #7 Desk Fan

Desk Fan

Students will create a Plastic Desk Fan using 3DS Max. The design will be based on reference images below. The wooden toy will be reconstructed in 3d, using techniques covered in class, to closely resemble it's reference. Grading will be based upon ability to meet deadlines, follow directions, and overall level of polish on the model.

Project Specifications:

• Modeled Plastic Desk Fan using 3ds Max

  • Complete Plastic Fan, Model to realistic standard using the supplied reference photos.

Grade will be based upon:

• (30) Ability to meet project specifications

• (30) Ability to meet deadline milestones

• (5) Presentation

• (20) Level of polish

• (15) Creativity and resourcefulness

The final model will be submitted to me via blackboard before class. We will present and critique final models in class.
