Superlamb was written by Minnie Stacey in the run up to Liverpool's 2008 Capital of Culture. It's a swinging blues. Superlamb-banana is a big public sculpture in Liverpool. A cross between a lamb and a banana, it's a massive yellow thing. Superlamb's been painted pink, and black and white in its time, and the April Fool thing in the track really happened... Since the song was written, Superlamb has become a hollowed-out mass marketing tool, one of liverpool's 'brands'. It's been mass produced all over the city as a collection of fibreglass erectiles, and made into a cuddly toy and an ornament come souvenier. We've posted a demonstration track as an attachment at the foot of this page.
